What happens when I use the Spin tool with a drill/screwdriver with less power than recommended (12V drill, for instance)?

Usually 12V equipment does not have the minimum required power which is 500 Watts, and/or the minimum speed of 1,800 rpm. The key for getting the best out from the SPIN Tools are matching its benefits with good rates of both rotation speed and power. If you do otherwise and use the SPIN Tools along with less powerful/fast power tools than recommended, it will probably take longer to make a flare/swage, because it will take a lot longer to heat up the tube. And most probably, it’ll have soot occurrence inside the tube, after shaping it into the desired form. We do not recommend using the SPIN Tools with power tools with less than the specified requirements, because the SPIN tools are meant to provide a high quality, fast, efortless flare/ swage, and using the SPIN tools with drills/screwdrivers that not meet the requirements will not allow the user to get the best results out from the SPIN tools.
