What happens if the flare takes more than 5-7 seconds to be made?

Usually 5-7 seconds are sufficient for tubes up to 5/8″, though it might take longer for tubes above this diameter. There is no problem if it takes more than 10 seconds, however it is important for a perfect execution of the flare or expansion that we ensure to push the SPIN Tool inside the tube all way in until its stopper touches the tube’s end, even if it takes more than 5 seconds. However, if it takes a lot more (twice the time, for instance) probably your drill/screwdriver is under the minimum requirements for the use along with the SPIN Tools. See above.
